Marian left the Netherlands in 1988 to lead a bohemian life in the South of France.

After an international career in the sports and design world, she began working as a mixed media artist in 2010. Her work blends styles such as Dadaism, pop art, retro chic, kitsch, surrealism, and classical art, using techniques ranging from acrylic and oil paint to collages, assemblages, and readymades.
She works with found objects and vintage images, addressing themes such as the environment, women's rights, freedom, and social justice.

Her art has been exhibited worldwide, including in Paris, London, Rotterdam, Spoleto, and Belgrade, and is represented by galleries and platforms such as ARTSPER and Saatchi Art. Publications such as Beaux Arts Magazine and KOLAJ Magazine have written about her. She has also designed album covers and creates commissioned art.

From her studio in Roquebrune-sur-Argens, she continues to be inspired by her passion for old paper, which began at the age of five.

After visiting her studio on the Côte d’Azur, we discussed our collaboration with Marian over a delicious aperitif. We are incredibly proud to be able to add her beautiful works to our collection!
