This intriguing work shows the silhouette of a man in a dark coat, in which surreal elements and modern collage come together. Instead of a face, a cone-shaped dessert, ‘Le Parfait au Café’, sits on a plate, giving the image an absurd and poetic dimension. A scarf with natural motifs wraps around his neck and adds a dynamic, colorful touch that contrasts harmoniously with the serene blue background. This surprising composition breaks with artistic conventions and encourages the viewer to reflect on identity and perception.
The bold use of everyday objects emphasizes the artist’s creativity and conceptual depth. The result is a powerful visual statement that combines humor and reflection.
Mixed media on canvas measuring 89 x 116 x 2 cm, acrylic paint, paper transfer, and oil paint.
Signed and delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
