This spectacular 2025 work by Jacks Art (Jack Liemburg) is a bold, contemporary reinterpretation of Rembrandt's masterpiece The Night Watch (1642)
At the top, in large white handwriting, it says "de nacht wacht op ons" (the night waits for us), at the bottom "de liefde" (love), the year "2025," and the signature "Jack."
The work brilliantly connects 17th-century Dutch history with modern glamour, rebellion, and romance.
A typical example of Liemburg's style in which classical art clashes with contemporary motivational elements and sensuality.
