GALKA, who is originally from Belarus, has now been living in France for some thirty years.

She studied various painting and sculpture techniques at the Brest Art Academy in the Republic of Belarus. It was there that she developed her artistic talents and worked, inspired by the world around her.

In 1994, she came to France and in 2005 she became a naturalized French citizen. Since that same year, she has opened her studio in Callian.

Today, GALKA lives in the Var region and paints the world as she sees it: lively, full of color, and with a childlike gaze, radiant with light and cheerfulness.
With her work, Galka aims to evoke joy and wonder and convey a sense of peace.

Life is full of obstacles and small moments that make it both beautiful and difficult at the same time. In my paintings, I always show the positive side. Round shapes, colors, and light express joy and gentleness, often with a humorous wink: laughing, smiling, living. Art shows who I am, honors nature, and reveals wonder.

I want to paint everything I see: the street, the animals, the villages, the women... in short, life itself.

Her works are signed and come with a certificate of authenticity.
